Mumbai: The 56th Idea Filmfare Awards was a truly magical night where all Bollywood luminaries were dressed in their best outfits and gave their best performances thereby making it a memorable moment.

Madhuri Dixit dressed in a baby pink lehenga choli and King Khan dressed in a black pathani dress had a superb chemistry on-stage.

The Imran Khan-Ranbir Kapoor act where Imran played the role of Salman in “Dabangg” and Ranbir that of King Khan in “My Name Is Khan” was simply mind blowing.

The two did a hilarious act together from Guzaarish where Imran played the role of Hrithik and Ranbir that of Aishwarya. Ranbir stated “I look as good as Aishwarya.”

“You bet! Sonu Nigam who completed 20 years in the industry took the audience to a different level with the theme song of Titanic. It was an awesome start.”

While performing he came down the stage and touched Yash Chopra’s feet for his blessings as it is he who gave Sonu a break.

It was also a special moment for Yash Chopra who completed 51 years in the industry. In honour of Yash Chopra, Sonu Nigam also sang the song “Ae Meri Johra Jabeen”.

Sonu then headed towards Farah Khan and greeted her and then headed towards Anu Malik, David Dhawan, Rekha, Shah Rukh Khan, and then to Shatrughan Sinha.

Sonu dedicated the song “’Kiska Hai Yeh Tumko Intezar Main Hoon Na” to Farah. Anu Malik joined Sonu and Farah and they went up to David Dhawan and sang “Jeene Ke Hai Char Din”.

Sonu and Rekha together sang the song “Dil Cheez Kya Hai” and once again Rekha stunnned the audience by singing so well. Sonu and King Khan both sang the song “Kal Ho Na Ho” where King Khan also did his trademark steps.

Shatrughan Sinha gave a mantra to the youngsters “Prove yourself better than the best or prove yourself different than the rest”. He and Sonu together sang the song “Aaj Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai”.
